Lo, upon my bench it came—a chest of thirty-eight tools, forged not in fire but in mild indifference. Each blade promises precision, yet cuts like a whisper through a wet sock. The files? They file. Eventually. The tiny brush? I think it’s decorative. The handle unscrews itself like it’s got commitment issues. Still, in my hour of post-processing despair, these noble peasants of steel rose from their discount slumber and scraped, sliced, and sanded with the enthusiasm of hungover interns. Would a pro use them? Nay. But for $12.88, they’re a clattering army of maybe-useful metal bits that dare to dream. I name thee: “the house of slightly adequate.”
